July Wrap Up

I had a very productive month reading throughout July I read 10 books, half of them were review books.

This month I decided to do my own Readathon because I have a lot of books on my TBR, the first book that I read was Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver, I have also reviewed this and the link will be down below!
This was my first book that I finished in July, Odd and True by Cat Winters, this isn’t actually out yet until September I believe, but I will leave the link to my review of this book below.

Once I had read two contemporary books I wanted to read something a bit more different and One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus was the perfect book to read. five people go into detention and only four leave? who did it? This book was shocking, like the ending was just OMG, because I did not see that coming.
After reading Before I Fall I decided I wanted to read something a bit more cuter and so I read Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch, this book was so adorable and I just wanted to jet off to Italy when I read it, a great read and if you love YA Contemporaries you should definitely pick this book up.

My final book that I read for my readathon is another review book but I actually got this from NetGalley but managed to buy a physical copy early, Daughter of the Burning City by Amanda Foody, I loved this book, it was a good fantasy book which is my favorite genre, the cover is gorgeous and even the feel of it is nice, it feels quite matte so the design was just fab! As I said, this was a review book so the link for this will also be below.
I got Nemesis by Brendan Reich in the post from Macmillan to review so this wasn’t actually meant to be in with my readathon but I just wanted to jump into it so I exchanged it for a different book so that I could read it, I have reviewed this book and the link for this will be below.

Show Stopper by Hayley Barker, isn’t the arc just beautiful?! I want to buy the full cover as well at some point but this design is just so incredibly pretty. This book was so good, I’m excited for the sequel to come out next year!!

Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia, this book was amazing, it was relatable and cute, the drawings that were inside were just incredible, Francesca is a utterly talent author. I haven’t read anything else by her but I think I will be looking into her other books now!

S.T.A.G.S by M. A. Bennett, this was a great book, a YA thriller and I want more a sequel! Link to the review will be listed below.

Dare to Fall by Estelle Maskame was my last review book of July, Estelle is an incredibly talent author and I can’t wait to read more by her, link to this review is also listed.

So I read 5 review books and 5 non review books, all links for the review books are listed here:
