It’s officially October, HALLOWEEEEEEEN MONTH! It’s time for pumpkins and blankets, those cosy jumpers and spiced candles, it’s the best time of the year! This is our first Bookish Friday post and our first prompt is Favourite Things About Fall.. probably just given away most of my favourite things already but I can elborate!😅

Fall is the perfect time of year to curl up on the sofa with a cosy blanket, a hot chocolate and good book to get lost in! I’ve got about a million blankets for fall this year, I won’t get cold that’s for sure and plenty of cushions too!

I ordered some pumpkins back in September so that I could use them properly on my bookstagram, could I just do a fall theme all year? Would that be a little weird?

Spooky reads! I like to read them whenever throughout the year but October I tend to prioritise these types of books, you can find my TBR for this month here if you’re interested!

Fairylights, this is the time of year I start to use fairylights more leading up to winter, it’s getting darker so the lighting gets worse and fairylights give that extra cosiness into the atmosphere.

TKMaxx, probably not what you thought you’d see on this list, but all my favourite decor comes out because of halloween! Candles, pumpkins, masks, little trinkets and plates etc, decoration for my flat, not entirely sure my boyfriend would see it that way..

JUMPERS! It’s nice to layer up on the colder days and wear all the jumpers that you haven’t been able to wear for a few months in summer. I don’t have many jumpers at the moment so need to stock up this fall!

The Boots! Ugh, I loveeee wearing heeled boots in winter and doing my outfit around them, I need to get some flat ones this year as well but fall outfits are the best!

The leaves turning and standing on crunchy leaves, such a satisfying thing, they turn such beautiful colours.

MOVIES & TV SHOWS, I mean it’s Harry Potter time all year but Autumn & Christmas seem like the two perfect times of the year to watch them?! I know I will be watching them more in the coming months, Supernatural, love that show, Hocus Pocus, a childhood favourite – CASPER! Anything witchy and spooky are all great to watch!

This turned out a lot longer than I expected so apologies for rambling! What’s your favourite thing about fall? If you’ve done a ‘Bookish Friday’ post definitely leave your link below as I’d love to check it out!
