Thank you Hodder for sending me this BEAUTIFUL proof copy of Finale to review, I just couldn’t believe my luck when I got the email saying one was in the post! I’m just so happy to have been lucky enough to read it early!

Welcome, welcome to Caraval… all games must come to an end.

I’ve been rereading Caraval and Legendary in order to refresh and prepare myself to read Finale and I JUST CAN’T. I’m not even sure how this is going to go as I’ve just finished it and I have so many feelingsssss. You can find my review for Caraval and Legendary here..

Caraval by Stephanie Garber | Review | Legendary by Stephanie Garber | Review

Finale was absolutely incredible, I thought that it was such a great ending to this magnificent trilogy but I’m so sad that it’s come to an end. It takes place two months after the events in Legendary and all of the fates are now free from the cards and Legend has claimed to be the empresses lost heir and is now about to become Emperor of Valenda.

Caraval was done from Scarlett’s point of view and Legendary was done from Donatella’s point of view so it made sense for Finale to be done from both of their points of view!

Every story has four parts: the beginnings, the middle, the almost-ending, and the true ending.

I flew through this one in less than a day, I just needed to devour it because I just love this story and the characters even the villains in the book are so well done you can’t hate them! We read more about Jacks in this one as well, I really enjoyed reading the moments between him and Tella I will admit there were moments I loved Jacks too, I feel that we see so much more depth to all of the character’s in this one!

Scarlett has found her previous fiancée and wishes to meet him to give him a chance and in the midst of Julian and the Count arguing over her she challenges them both and she proposes a game to win her hand in marriage, at this part I may have groaned at what she’s done but Stephanie had written it so well that it was all worth it!

The ending of this book was absolutely amazing, I didn’t feel that Stephanie had rushed the plot of this book whatsoever and I didn’t find that the ending wasn’t rushed either which was good!

Caraval is over, but perhaps the greatest game of all has begun.

If you haven’t gathered already, Caraval is one of my f a v o u r i t e series and that I’m going to recommend this series left and right! If you’ve not read Caraval or moved onto Legendary yet I recommend that you do as it’s not long until this beauty of a book is released! I can’t wait to reread this series all over again and to rediscover the magic of the books 😍
