Christmas Song Book Tag

I haven’t done a tag in so long so I thought that I’d get into the Christmas spirit and do a Christmas themed tag, I found this tag, Christmas Song Book Tag, here, I’m not sure who started it but here we go!

1. “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch”: Name a villainous character you couldn’t help but love.

The Darkling from Shadow and Bone series by Leigh Bardugo – I LOVE HIM!

2. “All I Want for Christmas is You”: Which book to you most hope to see under your Christmas tree?

Once A King by Erin Summerill – okay, so I know I’m getting this from a book box!

3. “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”: Name a character that overcomes major obstacles and learns to believe in themselves.

Isabelle from Spindle Fire duology by Lexa Hillyer

4. “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”: a) Which character do you think would be on the top of the naughty list?
b) Which character do you think would be at the top of the nice list?

A) Umbridge – she doesn’t even deserve coal.

B) Hermione

5. “Frosty the Snowman”: Which book just melts your heart.

It Only Happens in the Movies by Holly Bourne

6. “Feliz Navidad”: Choose a book that takes place in a country other than your own.

What If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera

7. “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”: Which holiday themed book do you use to spread the Christmas joy.

I don’t read Christmas books but let’s go with Harry Potter and the Philospher’s Stone by J K Rowling – a perfect read for any time of the year!

8. “Sleigh Ride”: Which fictional character would you choose to spend the holidays with (doesn’t have to be a love interest!)

Will Herondale … or maybe Tessa Gray! – these are both from Cassandra Clare’s The Infernal Devices trilogy.

9. “Baby it’s Cold Outside”: Which book that you didn’t like would you sacrifice to a fire to warm yourself up in the cold?

Damsel by Elana K Arnold – good ending, terrible otherwise.

10. “Do you hear what I hear”: Which book do you think everyone should read?

A Very Large Expanse of Sea by Tahereh Mafi – this book was such an amazing contemporary!

I tag: Lauren @ Lau Reads, Amy @ Bookish Heights, Jacqueline @ The Pufflehuffle Kitteh and Nikki @ Books and Lemon Squash

  1. I love this tag! Harry Potter is definitely the perfect Christmas read. Most of these are on my TBR too! I have heard the worst things about Damsel, I am very glad I never purchased now 😅
