This is a little late into July but I forgot to post about June’s book haul, throughout June I got about 18 books, two of which I won/received from publishers!
I bought all four of the Harry Potter house editions in paperback from Tesco because they were 2 for £7 so I got all 4 for £14, Tesco as far as I know is the cheapest place to buy the paperback copies if you wanted more that one! They are absolutely beautiful and next I shall need to buy them all in hardback editions to complete my collection.
I visited my nearest Waterstones where I got Spellbook of the Lost and Found by Moria Fowley-Doyle, I didn’t even know that Moria Fowley-Doyle even had another book out till somewhen in May and I was excited to read another book by her but it has now joined my never ending TBR list so I hope to get around to it soon! I also got The Girl of Ink and Stars by Karen Millwood Hargrave, I’ve heard many things about this book, all good of course, so I can’t wait to give this a try!
I bought One Of Us Is Lying by Karen M McManus online and I annoyingly received an arc version when I was hoping for the finished edition, the finished copy is so much nicer than my arc version, I’ll just have to buy it again soon!
I also got the Demon Road trilogy by Derek Landy which includes the following titles.. Demon Road, Desolation & American Monsters, I just had to buy this set as hardcovers because I prefer a lot of my books in hardback, sadly they’re just so expensive but I managed to buy all three of these for about £10 or just over!
I received a finished copy of the Lost Boy by Christina Henry from Titan Books which I have reviewed – Link to the review is here.
I’ve been incredibly hyped for The Waking Land by Callie Bates which I managed to buy a little bit early via Wordery and got express delivery so I could read it as soon as possible! It is such a beautiful looking book and sounds incredible, I can’t wait to devour it!
I also bidded on When Dimple met Rishi by Sandhya Menon on eBay so I managed to get this for cheap! This book has been talked about and hyped up A LOT, I’m excited to give this a read and hope it lives up to its expectations.
Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone Hardback, I couldn’t resist, slowly buying all the hardcover editions now that I’ve gotten all the paperback ones! I hate that they put the stickers on these because they’re so hard to get off!
And that is it, those are all the books that I have gotten in June!
