July Wrap Up

I can’t believe that July is now over! I managed to read 17 books this month and I’ve enjoyed most of them! 🙂

  1. A Thousand Perfect Notes by C J Drews ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – fast paced, amazing read, some well written characters and a really good ending, highly recommend.
  2. Crowns Game by Evelyn Skye ⭐⭐⭐.5 – Found this didn’t live up to my expectations, I think it was a little over hyped, I enjoyed it and I do plan on reading the next book.
  3. Circe by Madeline Miller ⭐⭐⭐.75 – This was a good read, I love Greek mythology books, overall I did enjoy it.
  4. And I Darken by Kiersten White ⭐⭐⭐ – Like Crowns Game, this didn’t live up to it’s hype, I enjoyed it, the plot was good, got a little frustrated with some characters but I’m planning on reading the next book and I’ve got the third on the way.
  5. A Bad Boy Stole My Bra by Laura Price ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – I have a review up for this which I have linked!
  6. Grace and Fury by Tracy Banghart ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – This was a short read, really enjoyable, I loved it a lot, I’m trash for any sort of royalty books and I’m looking forwards to the next one.
  7. Save The Date by Morgan Matson ⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Morgan Matson is my favourite contemporary author, I enjoyed this, there were A LOT of characters but I managed to keep up once I figured out who was who, funny, cute and I found myself smiling a lot throughout this book.
  8. First We Were IV by Alexandra Siwory ⭐⭐⭐ – this was one of my most anticipated reads of last year but I never managed to grab a copy until now, was boring, I didn’t enjoy this as much as I hoped I would, I think it could’ve been a lot better.
  9. The Island by M A Bennett⭐⭐⭐⭐ – I have a review of this up if you wish to check it out!
  10. Queens of Geek by Jen Wilde ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – THIS BOOK, was adorable, cute and funny, I loved all the references especially to Supernatural, it was amazing and I recommend this!
  11. Eden Conquered by Joelle Charbonneau ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – The conclusion to the duology of Diving Eden, absolutely amazing, I flew through it, I love the characters and I wish there was going to be more to this series.
  12. The Mermaid by Christina Henry ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – my review for this is currently in progress.
  13. Floored by various authors ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – This book was so good! I loved Kaitlyn’s character as I feel that I’m going to relate to her a lot more in the future. I don’t have her condition, Stargardt Disease where she’s slowly going blind but I have Ushers Syndrome where I’m going to slowly lose my peripheral vision.
  14. Summer of Us by Cecilia Vienese ⭐⭐⭐⭐
  15. Sea Witch ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – THIS WAS AMAZING!! The best mermaid book I’ve read this year!!
  16. Astonishing Colour of After by Emily X.R. Pan ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – I liked this but I thought it was a tad long.
  17. Jinxed by Amy McCollouch ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 – I flew through this, I enjoyed reading about this robot vat and I really look forwards to the next book!

    1. Incredible reading! Circe is on my TBR, I hope I like it!

      1. It was a good read, not the most exciting for me but enjoyable nonetheless 🙂

    2. Damn! You’re killing IT!
I also didn’t think And I Darken lived up to the hype. I ended up DNF’ing the book. I’m looking forward to your thoughts on the sequels.

      1. Hahah, slowly getting my TBR down… ish! I didn’t want to DNF it because I heard it was good but it was like A Darker Shade of Magic for me, too much hype. I’m hoping to read the sequels soon 🙂
