June Wrap Up!

Throughout June I managed to read 18 books, four of these were rereads and a couple are review books!

  1. Strange and Ever After by Susan Dennard – ⭐⭐⭐⭐                                                        This was the final book in the Something Strange and Deadly trilogy, and the ending broke my heart, how could you do this to me?! I really enjoyed Susan’s writing and I’m really looking forwards to reading her other series Truthwitch!
  2. Eve of Man by Giovanna and Tom Fletcher – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐                                                     oOOooh this was gooood! Their first ever book written together and it was incredible! It’s done from two P.O.V, Eve and Bram, it’s so well written and it’s great as you can’t tell whose written what so it all blends beautifully! I’m so happy that I’ve managed to buy and read this before YALC so I can see them! 🙊
  3. Simon Vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐                            Buddy read this with Suzanne (@bookmarvel), I absolutely loved this book, was cute and perfect! I can’t wait to watch Love, Simon when it’s finally out!
  4. LIFEL1K3 by Jay Kristoff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️                                                                                         This book is really different to Nevernight and I absolutely loved it, it was perfect, interesting and just kept me gripped until the last pages AND NOW I HAVE TO WAIT FOR BOOK 2 BECAUSE THAT ENDING WAS JUST NOT WHAT I EXPECTED JAY!
  5. Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5                                                           I didn’t enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed Becky’s other two books.
  6. Just Don’t Mention It by Estelle Maskame ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  7. Legend by Marie Lu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️                                                                                           This was a reread so that I was all caught up with the first two books before starting Champion, and I have to say it was even better than the first time I read it!
  8. Prodigy by Marie Lu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  9. Champion by Marie Lu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  10. Extinction Trials by S M Wilson ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️                                                                            DINOSAURS. That’s it. That’s all you need to know. (this was a reread)
  11. Extinction Trials Exile by S M Wilson ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️                                                                       MORE DINOSAURS. You don’t need anymore explanation to buy this do you?
  12. Ash Princess by Laura Sebastian ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5                                                                         This was a buddy read with Suzanne, you can read my review to find out why I’ve rated it so low.
  13. Dragon of the Month Club by Iain Reading ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  14. Boneless Mercies by April Genevieve Tucholke ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️                                              I think that I will be giving this book a full review sometime next week! 😊
  15. Sky In The Deep by Adrienne Young ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️                                                                                  THIS BOOK WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! YOU NEEED TO BUY THIS BOOOOK, especially if you love vikings and badass female heroines, IT WAS THAT GOOD! plus if you enjoyed Beyond A Darkened Shore you will lOOVE this one!
  16. The Surface Breaks by Louise O’Neill ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. This was a nice and light mermaid book to read, I enjoyed it. Apparently it was a feminist mermaid book but I wouldn’t say it got very feminist until the very end 🤷‍♀️
  17. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince by J K Rowling ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. My reread of Harry Potter is almost over 😭
  18. A Thousand Perfect Notes by C G Drews ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I thought this one was absolutely incredible but it is also heartbreaking 😫
